Simcoe Natural Foods was founded in 1987 by the husband and wife team of Gail and Tim Lyons.

When Gail and Tim discovered their son had severe food allergies, they spent a frustrating few years trying to find foods he could eat. It was this frustration that helped them decide to open a natural foods store in their local town of Simcoe.

The store complimented and filled a void in the town and now provides a multitude of healthy eating, living and lifestyle products. Everything from household cleaners, to organic beauty, to grocery and bulk items,

Simcoe Natural Foods has provided natural and healthy choices for over 35 years.

We would love to have you visit us at the store, or ask a question on this site. We will do our best to answer any questions but we are learning too. So, if we don’t know the answer, we will let you know and try to find an answer.

We are all unique, getting to where we are from our own path, so your solutions may not be the same as someone else’s, even if they have the same symptoms as you do. That is why it is helpful if you have used a product to let us know what results you have with it so we can share stories with others, hopefully helping them find their solutions.

Company History

Lyons and her husband relocated to Paris in July to be closer to their children. She recently sold the business to new owner Laura Maguire of Simcoe. Maguire takes the helm Sept. 1.  Simcoe Reformer

Laura Maguire, is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. Laura grew up in Binbrook and settled with her husband in Selkirk where they raised their children.  They spent 14 years in Toronto before moving back to the area a year and a half ago.  Laura feels blessed to have this opportunity to step into such a well-established business.  Norfolk Hub
